Awesome Dads Awesome Men (A.D.A.M.) is a fatherhood mentoring program funded by the Jim Moran Foundation.
A.D.A.M. fatherhood mentoring is a FREE program for fathers and men in Broward County. The Program allows participants to become part of a group in which they learn about relationships, children, parenting, and much more in a non-threatening environment. This Program takes an evidence-based approach, recognizing the needs of fathers and the significant impact they have on their children and families.
Upon successful completion of the Program and/or consistent Program engagement:
- Family protective factors will increase
- Factors that put families and children at risk will reduce
- Mistreatment of children in the home will be prevented or reduced and
- The number and severity of family crisis events will be reduced or eliminated, with significant improvements
