Program Overview
Young Believers is funded by Children’s Services Council of Broward County, and supports students by providing social emotional support, in achieving short and long term goals, while partnering with the families to provide mortgage, utility, immigration, and rental assistance, including case management services for students at Deerfield Beach Middle School at risk of academic underperformance.
Students in this program receive:
- Snacks
- Outdoor activities
- Field trips and STEAM activities
- Homework assistance and tutoring
- Mind, body and wellness activities
Parents of students enrolled in this program receive:
- Mortgage, utility, immigration, rental and credit recovery assistance
- Case management services
Who’s Eligible?
- 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students at Deerfield Beach Middle School
