MARKHAM HEALTH & RESOURCE HUB
The purpose of the Markham Health & Resource Hub, funded by Community Foundation of Broward, is to address the challenges at Markham Elementary School and in the local community by providing community-based services and resources that promote equity, accessibility and sustainability.
GOALS

- The goal is to build and uplift the residents of the Pompano area who live within the Markham Zone
- Barriers facing the community: lack of healthy food options, language barriers, high crime, poverty, lack of parental involvement
- Community-Based Connections brought on to engage partners in a way that positively impacts the community
- Overall goal is to increase academic, housing, employment, health, and food access needs outcomes
