Community Based Connections to Host 4th Annual Green Blazer Awards Gala Honoring Champions of Community Health
Fort Lauderdale, FL – Community Based Connections, Inc. (CBC) is thrilled to announce its 4th Annual Green Blazer Awards Gala, celebrating remarkable contributions to community health and wellness across South Florida. The gala will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, beginning with cocktails at 6 PM and officially kicking off at 7 PM, at the stunning Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, located at 321 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304.
This signature event recognizes and honors exceptional individuals and organizations who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to youth, families, and social justice in Broward County and beyond. The Green Blazer symbolizes legacy, leadership, and the pursuit of equity—a powerful emblem bestowed upon trailblazers who are making meaningful, measurable impact in their communities.

Now in its fourth year, the Green Blazer Awards Gala has become one of the most anticipated community events in South Florida. Attendees will experience an inspiring program that includes live entertainment, heartfelt stories, and the highly anticipated presentation of the coveted Green Blazer Award to this year’s honorees—whose contributions exemplify the spirit of service, advocacy, and transformative change.
